Mr Buckley's

I hope you've all had a good weekend! If your looking for a new place to eat & drink in East, I highly recommend
Mr Buckley's on Hackney Road. The decor is unfussy featuring raw brick walls, plywood furniture and dimmed industrial lights, creating a cosy atmosphere. Staff are friendly and accommodating. 

The menu was varied, offering an inventive selection of European-influenced small plates. About 6 small dishes per couple. I'd recommend the blue cheese polenta with wild mushroom and truffle oil, my partner and I fought over the last mouthful. For dessert we decided on the honeycomb parfait which did not disappoint. I have to learn how to make it!

We'll be back for sure!

 Hey Guys, I hope you had a wonderful bank holiday weekend! I had a lovely weekend away in Sandbanks, such a beautiful part of the Country.

It was so relaxing to be out of the City, in great company and eating delicious food!

Fin de semana en Barcelona

Hey Guys! I had a few days off following the shoot and spent it in Barcelona with my friends to celebrate a 30th! 

Had such a great time, here's a few shots from the weekend!

              

VIAJANTE

This weekend I went for a few late afternoon cocktails in the 'Viajante' cocktail bar in Bethnal Green town hall. You might remember that I've mentioned this venue previously when I visited the 'Corner Room' restaurant? 

Anyhow, the bar has a gorgeous interior and finish, we enjoyed an amaretto sour and a few cheeky glasses of red. This is definitely going to be one of my new hangouts!

My package from amazon has just arrived! Two new book purchases plus a hard drive - treat of the month! (Hard drive = One of those things you know you need and my Mac has been craving for for a long time but they cost $$$).
