More PFW Street Style

Tommy Ton has captured up and coming trends in his definitive snap shots for Spring 15 during fashion week. The street style photographs show key trends surfacing including the nod towards the 70s. Including A-Line skirts, polo necks and flares. Larger lapels, patch pockets and twin needle top stitching are seen across softs and wovens.

Then we head to the 80s, looking at classics such as dungarees paired back with the crisp white shirt.

Overview Street Style Fall 14

This seasons shows have flown by as we near the end in Pari Pari. I am still in the process of reviewing them and will get back to you shortly. In the meantime I have gathered some of my favourite street style looks. Garments worn with ease, as layering tools creating varied proportions and silhouettes. Why over complicate when you have this sense of natural style?

NYFW Fall 14 Street Style

And so it begins, even though its a tad cold with temperatures below minus one. These ladies still look effortlessly cool with a perfect formula of leather, denim and jersey. My Instagram has been going crazy with show updates, so I best begin my reviews. Here goes...

PFW Street Style

After a busy month, the show is over so to speak and what a season it has been! The last few days have been the most exciting for myself, due to shows such as Chloé & Stella. Clothes every woman wants to wear. Sad news about Marc Jacobs departing Louis Vuitton, I really liked his final show, especially with the initial denim looks. I didn't realise he had held the Creative position for 16years, such a long stint.

Anyway guys, I must go to sleep, up bright and early for a range planning meeting. Then finally my partner is back from a work trip so we finally get a evening together.
Date night is consisting of dinner and then the cinema, we're such old romantics.

My Edit - The Shirt

A staple piece in my closet is the shirt. Crisp cotton, denim, striped, linen, you name it. The shirt is so versatile, dress it up or down. A heel, brogue or sneakers can give it such a different look. I'm keeping my eye out this season, currently being inspired by street style snaps. Cool, effortless style all in the form of a shirt combo.

LFW & MFW - Street Style

Sorry for my absence. I have a lot of projects on at the moment and I need a really good wifi connection to be able to work on my blog, some hotels really need to sort it out! The next few months are really busy with trips to NY, Hong Kong and India so please bare with me.

I have been going over the collections, what are your thoughts? I think a lot of brands have really pushed embroidery and applique work this season, its really exciting to see new techniques. Also, sheer layering guys...ORGANZA is a new craze, its everywhere!

Before I delve any deeper, here are my selection of street style snaps which I am loving, and would happily rock up in at the studio.

NYFW - Street Style

Hey guys, I hope your having a good Monday although here in London it is pouring with rain. There's been some negative press this season regarding street style photographers/bloggers and people considering this far more important than the shows. I don't think this is the case, but I do think it is important to document peoples day to day style as it evolves, just from a business point of view if nothing more.

This insight helps fashion houses generate range plans, update existing silhouettes, and concepts going forward.

Anyway, personally the less obvious the more stylish. I'm loving the looks below, especially Caroline de Maigret's classic combo of a white T & tailored black leather pants.
