We're all waiting for his Balenciaga debut in anticipation. Prior to that Wang focuses on his main line which definitely held some Cristobalisms, what with those cocoon shaped shoulders and molded volumes.
The fearless modernist pushed these shapes, combining fabrications adding to the youthful sportswear aesthetic. The simple palette, tones of greys, whites and blacks were rich with texture. I found it hard to make my edit as usual when it comes to Wang.
Needless to say I'd wear the entire collection given the chance!
