After much anticipation, its the moment we've ALL been waiting for, Alexander Wang's debut collection for Balenciaga.
The monochrome collection focused on fabric manipulation, form and cut. There is a strong reference to some of Balenciaga's earlier works. Wang has been conscious of the brands heritage.
He had big shoes to fill after Nicolas Ghesquiere's departure after 15 years at the house. I for one salute Wang! He has shown a mature collection with a conceptual nature.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Wang evolves in his role as Creative Director.
