I've just returned from a few days away in NYC. Above is the view from the apartment.

Had a great few days catching up with friends and rediscovering the City.
I was treated to some lovely meals at the The Spotted Pig and Spice Market, both of which I would highly recommend.

I had poached eggs most mornings, they are garnished so differently in NY. Below I had them on a bed of vine leaves and red onion drizzled with garlic infused oil, topped with paprika and pancetta. YUM!
NYC this is not goodbye, perhaps just the start...
