Just browsing on 'The Selby' website and came across these images of a gorgeous bakery in Vergennes, Vermont's smallest, oldest City. Run by American Julianne Jones and her French husband Didier Murat.
'Ironically, the Frenchman isn't the baker', Jones says.

Jones undertook an apprenticeship with reknowned Vermont bread baker Gerard Rubaud, shortly after the couple were inspired to open the bakery.
Installed with a wood burning oven, Jones bakes her naturally leavened bread and her shells for her savoury tarts.

I hope I can visit on my next trip to the states! I'm inspired to bake tonight now after leaving the studio!
Have a good evening!
