The highly anticipated resort collection has gone live coinciding with their new ad campaign. Once again featuring model Daria Werbowy. The face of Céline who is reminiscent of the brands Creative Director Phoebe Philo. 

The stunning images advocate the strength behind Céline's branding and marketing strategy.

My Picks - Jil Sander Resort 2015

Please forgive me for my lack of posts. I have managed to take a week off and have been in what can only be described as paradise. 

I am now catching up...to begin I have just seen the Jil Sander Resort collection. Although Jil Sander has parted ways with her self-named label for the third time, the brand has such a strong DNA that I am confident the label can still prosper with the right design team in place. 

This season demonstrates exactly that with a concise photo shoot showcasing full length, detail and angled shots in a clean manner. White is the new black, set against variant shades of green and ochre. There are Japanese styling references with obi ties and dropped shoulders creating soft structures. There are a flurry of ideas just waiting to be developed further.

My Picks - J.W. Anderson Resort 2015

The impact of the LVMH investment is still relatively new. Having said that J.W. Anderson's Resort collection comprises of a wider variety of silhouettes, a multitude of fabrications and an expanse of accessories. Creative ideas that have been touched on in previous seasons have been developed, showcasing a more dynamic range.

My Picks - Louis Vuitton Resort 15

Nicolas Ghesquiere has showcased his second collection for the LVMH powerhouse, in Monaco. The look was an extension from Fall, revisiting the fit and flare silhouette. The collection was playful and diverse with mismatched prints and colour blocking. For me the structured tailoring were the staple looks.
