My Picks - Balenciaga Pre-Fall 15 RTW

Parisian elegance paired back with stateside best describes Alexander Wang's take on this season.
My favourite elements are the attention to hardware development which have a sixties vibe.

KNIT - Pure & Simple

It can be a hard look to carry off but when it works...it works. The trend for head to toe knit was evident in the pre collections presented by Joseph and Stella McCartney for Pre Fall.

My Picks - Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 15 RTW

With new store openings in the pipeline Proenza Schlouer are quickly expanding. Their Pre Fall collection revisits the fringing and pleating fabrications they developed on their main line.
Silhouettes were lean, comprised of plaid detailing, heavy cable knits and mid calf proportions.

My Picks - Chloé Pre-Fall 15 RTW

Pre-Fall collections have started to be released. This season Waight Keller showcases an offbeat romanticism heavily inspired by Kate Bush. Shaggy furs and carpet tapestries were layered back with soft poet sleeves and antiqued military hardware.

More PFW Street Style

Tommy Ton has captured up and coming trends in his definitive snap shots for Spring 15 during fashion week. The street style photographs show key trends surfacing including the nod towards the 70s. Including A-Line skirts, polo necks and flares. Larger lapels, patch pockets and twin needle top stitching are seen across softs and wovens.

Then we head to the 80s, looking at classics such as dungarees paired back with the crisp white shirt.

Daria Werbowy by Mikael Jansson

I know, I know more editorials of Daria Werbowy, but how could I resist. These images are are so striking. Daria's photographed in various states of undress by Swedish-born photographer Mikael Jansson for the September issue of Interview Magazine.

Mood - Killing Me Softly

How's your week been? I feel shattered. I don't know whether it is down to the gloomy weather, or the nostalgia after the Christmas period. At least my mood board this evening has a purity to it, even with its slightly sinister title.

Have a lovely weekend guys!

My Picks - Chloé PF14 RTW

J'adore! The textures, the tones, the distinct femininity. This is one house I hope to design for one day, especially within the tailoring/outerwear and knitwear department. The patchwork blanket coat below is stunning with its varying textures of shearling contrasted with internal linear tapestry.
That graphic element is carried throughout the collection in the form of print, piped wraps and textural striped knit.

My Picks - The Row PF14 RTW

This season the sisters looked upon gardeners as their initial source of inspiration. The Row's main focus is the working wardrobe executed from the most luxurious fabrications, down to the finest of details. Few designers showcase the classics like they do. My favourite pieces are the spacious midi skirt and the roomy trench coat, both of which are timeless garments.
An ankle length hem line is a key characteristic of this seasons collections.

Presenting the collection on models within varying age groups makes The Row even less pretentious and proves you can be stylish at any age.

Mood - Modern Calculus

I hope your all having a good week, so far.
I've just got back from Paris and have so much to share with you. I'll be doing a review of my trip in the next few days.

This mood was initially inspired by one of Jeff Koon's pieces, 'Balloon Venus' which was on display at Colette.
Jeff Koon's has such a flair for innovation and that is what I love about his work. Playful and unique.

Mood - Reflection

Today, I have reflected on the past two and a half years spent in London. Packing up my life into cardboard boxes feels quite surreal, especially after the past three months.

A fresh canvas awaits.
